Beijing, March 27 (Youth.cn)- A domestic 5-ton natural hydrogen liquefaction system cold box was unveiled in Beijing on March 26th. Independent developed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Group, it was presented on the 24th China International Petroleum and Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition. As the first domestic core equipment that has continuous conversion heat exchange function, its presentation marks great technological breakthrough in efficient storage and transportation of liquid hydrogen, and entrance into worldwide advance level in intellectualization and unit energy consumption. After put into use, hydrogen liquefaction equipment capacity could sharply increase. At the same time, lower cost of hydrogen storage and transportation would be possible. It could be a great step for China’s hydrogen energy industry development and transformation of energy structure. Photo/VCG
